Today has been an interesting day of interconnecting our different Internet presences. Social media has become so important in both our personal lives and increasingly for our businesses. We have been using both our Facebook Page and our Twitter account – and now both are linked to notify our followers or fans on those systems when the blog is updated.
In addition to this we’ve installed a subscription system (you’ll notice the box on the right hand side) whereby you can pop your email address in there and have an email notification when we’ve added some new content to the blog. Email addresses are stored in our website database solely for submitting updates as you choose when you sign up – so we wouldn’t start to bombard you with information you don’t want!
My background isn’t in Property Management, so my role for Broadwalk is fixed around our internet presence and communication – and it’s been an exciting few days having previously had more of a ‘holding page’. We will continue to develop and add to our content over the coming weeks, but now fortunately have a structure in place to achieve that more easily, quickly and more flexibly.
So keep an eye on both the website for further developments and content, and also the blog space where we hope to be able to share less formal but nonetheless stimulating insight into the different facets of our organisation.
